Please review the sequel to ths game "M.A.D." For the 2600.It was made by US Games, not Atari, and isnt as good as MC, bt it is fun.
The effect of your gun station ot whatever it is blowing up when you lose is just awesome.
i often spend many an hour playing missile command with bezerk, asteriods and donkey kong.
the sounds in haunted house scare the shit out of me though...
@doogrisa 1995 i was kinda late to get it
@coleybenton what year was it when you first played the atari2600?
I used to turn off the lights and play this game all night.. I love hearing these sounds it brings back so many memories.. I really want to get a 2600. I thought they were gone for good
You should review the atari flashbacks newest model. The on I got was a 2600 with 40 games built in. Look it up!
@atm94404 yes but he also co-founded PF Magic which made the crap game 3D Ballz.Wen he was in Atari he also worked on the Space Invaders port

Mark you and me share a love of Atari 2600
ahh the 1980's
Growing up i was very very fortunate to have an uncle who worked in an arcade and who would simply unlock whatever game i wanted to play (as long as it wasnt one of the newer games that they just got and were always busy like afterburner or superhang on) and would give me about 5 or 10 quids worth of credits for either myself or me and my cousing to play away to our hearts content. This was one of my faves and my uncle managed to somehow get this game cabinet in his house!!
I think John Connor played this game in Terminator 2.
A turky!. I'd have gone berzerk, go on a rampage, eat ms.pacman, gone on a moonpatrol , ride a desert falcon to make my great escape and get myself entombed to escape the hangman.
You can play some of classic atari 2600 at wwwataricom and you can play missle command at wwwmisslecommandcom
I love this game.It's hard,but it's addictive as hell.
Ah, classic video game sound effects: dakadakadakadakadakadakadaka... dak dak dak dak dak dak....
LMAO I remember playing this on the 2600. I always got a big kick out of those computer sounds that would play when a city was rebuilt.
@atm94404 Wow, how cheap.
